American Chestnut Tree seedling as on March 9, 2008. It was planted along with
23 others in mid February. This one is in my kitchen and it is warm there so it
sprouted first. It is three inches high right now. The other nuts are in the
cellar where it is colder so they have not come up yet. All of them are planted
in potting soil bought at a local garden center.
